My communication skills in the workplace are very limited. I talk to my boss, he tell me what to do, and i do it. I learned my trade through my uncle who has shown me how to contract and sub-contract. To describe my communicating skills is easy. I have none or if i do they are very limited. I can communicate with home owners on a professional manner, but simply put they tell me what they want and i do it. Yes i do have limitations in communicating effectively. To over come this I have been considering getting a part time job that would have me working more with the general public. It is important to me to communicate better because there is a lot of people in this world, and the better i get the more opportunities will open up for me in my workplace. Not sure how I will know when i have learned these skills effectively, but I will assume if I am talking to unknown persons on a regular basis, I am doing fairly well.

I am going to college mainly because of a shoulder injury that is preventing me from working. I am taking Pro Golf Management as a first year to Accounting. I hope to get through the first year and possibly the second year pending on when i am cleared by my doctor to go back to work. Within the next five years I hope to be back to work as a drywaller, but should the worst happen I will become an accountant.
